The Things I Carry....

The most important item I grab before I leave my house everyday is my wallet. It is a sense of security for me to have my ID's and money with me at all times. If I forget it I feel lost.

The next item I always try to have on me at all times is my phone. Without my phone I feel disconnected to the world and my friends. I can get into contact with anyone I want to at anytime I want to. This is important because I feel I am a very social person who likes to be surrounded by people and my phone makes this easy. Also, since it is a smartphone, I am able to access all sorts of information right at my fingertips. My phone makes organizing my life much easier.

Along with important items are my keys. I have my house keys and car keys on my key chain. This is a sense of security because I can get into my house at all times along with feeling like my house is safe and secure while I am away. Also, by having my car keys I feel able to get around much easier because I can go anywhere in my car. Losing/forgetting either of these items hindrances my sense of security and relaxation within my home and being able to get around.

Smaller items I like to carry around with me wherever I go are my Chapstick, flashlight, cigarettes and sunglasses. Each of these items make my life easier in some way. Flashlight is a sense of security. Chapstick keeps my lips feeling refreshed and is a source of beauty maintenance. Cigarettes are a source of relaxation during busy class days and stressful work days. Finally, I enjoy having my sunglasses on me for sunny days. They are a mask for my face and sun.

Everyone of these items are important to me in my everyday life. I carry them in my purse or backpack everyday and without one of these items I feel slightly less secure with successfully getting by and accomplishing my day.
