The items pictured here can change based off the size of my bag, but these are my main staples.
I almost always try to carry a pen and note pad, to write down my thoughts and ideas. At one time I would store my ideas on my iPhone's notepad. Then one day my phone dropped in shampoo and my phone died and all the ideas were gone. So I feel more comfortable writing my ideas in a book now, call me old fashioned.
I always carry my contact case, just in case I need to take out my contacts. Also I haven't been wearing contact that long and it makes me feel more comfortable carrying the case with me. Once my contact popped out my eye and since then I always have eye drops as well.
MUSIC I always need my iPod, my little guy. There are over a two hundred songs from Kanye West to Little Dragon. Song to fit every mood. My iPod helps me thinks, and also zone out from the world around, which is helpful when I catch public transportation. One thing I don't do is listen to my iPod at night, have to stay safe.
Lip Balm always a must can't deal with dry or ashy lips. If I don't have lip balm then I must find the nearest store that sell some. My skin also seems to dry out very fasts.
I always have my transpass because it is my main source of transportation. Having a transpass verse tokens works so much better for me. Hoping on a train to the store, then work, and then school would be costly after a while with tokens.
Almost forgot about my phone. I am not a big phone talker but I feel more secure having my phone on me. I used to have an iPhone but it broke, and it is really hard to go from a smartphone to a dumb phone. I really hate my phone now, but its better than no phone. So in case there is every an emergency I have a way to connect with people.
